Description
The Académie-Festival des Arcs will present a dialogue between two musical aesthetics that constantly inspire and respond to one another, centered on the theme of “bridges” between classical music and jazz. These two worlds have, since the 20th century, continually intersected, influenced, and enriched one another.
From the swing of Gershwin’s concertos to Bernstein’s sophisticated compositions, from improvisation to modern interpretations of Mozart and Bach, we will explore these two worlds through a rich program of concerts and musical events.
