Les Chapieux - The Wild One (elev. 1,550 m)

Want to truly disconnect? Welcome to Les Chapieux, where you’ll find unspoiled nature, wide-open spaces, and no cell service.
Accessible only in summer, this pristine site reveals itself when the mountains come alive in the warm season. In the heart of the Haute Tarentaise, between the Chapieux Valley and the City of Glaciers, everything here exudes authenticity: herds grazing in the alpine pastures, Beaufort, tomme, and sérac cheeses, wild trails, and panoramic views of the Aiguille des Glaciers.
On the Tour du Mont-Blanc route, the valley invites you to hike, wander, and take breaks at mountain huts—blueberry tart highly recommended.
