How do I get to Les Arcs by train?
- From Paris: TGV INOUI year-round, OUIGO, and the Travelski Night Express overnight train in winter.
- From Lille: TGV INOUI, OUIGO and TER services provide connections to Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
- From Lyon: TER and TGV INOUI year-round, with a travel time of about 3 hours.
- From the Pays de la Loire and Brittany regions: Direct TGV INOUI trains from Nantes, Rennes, Le Havre, Brest, and Quimper on Saturdays during winter school breaks.
- From London, Belgium and the Netherlands: Eurostar with a change, or direct trains on certain Saturdays in winter. New for the 26/27 season: the Travelski Night Express runs a direct night train service from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Brussels to Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
- From the Tarentaise Valley: TER and TGV trains run regularly to the stations in Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne, Landry, and Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
- From anywhere in France: numerous connections are available via Paris, Lyon, Chambéry, or Albertville.

From the Bourg Saint Maurice train station, hop on the funicular and reach Arc 1600 in just 7 minutes. Once you’re up in the mountains, the shuttle buses between resorts will take over, making it easy to reach Arc 1800, Arc 1950, or Arc 2000, as well as your lodging.

The Night Train
You can now travel to Les Arcs by night train thanks to the Travelski Night Express. Hop on board Friday evening and wake up Saturday morning in the heart of the Alps, ready to hit the slopes. For the return trip, ski until the very last minute, then board the train Saturday evening to arrive back home Sunday morning.

Why choose the train?
Traveling to Les Arcs by train means avoiding the usual hassles of a trip to the mountains: putting on snow chains, reserving a parking spot, dealing with a trunk that’s too small, and having to designate a designated driver for the return trip. It’s also a more affordable option thanks to OUIGO in the winter—and a more eco-friendly one: transportation accounts for more than 50% of the emissions from a ski trip. Once you arrive in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the funicular takes you to Arc 1600 in 7 minutes, and then free shuttles take over, heading to Arc 1800, Arc 1950, and Arc 2000.
