Description
What is the "Course du Coeur"?
Running for Organ Donation Awareness:
- A 750-km non-stop relay run over four days and four nights between Paris and Bourg Saint Maurice from March 19 to 23, 2025.
- Approximately 20 teams of 14 runners each, including one team of transplant recipients (heart, liver, kidney, lungs, bone marrow, etc.)
- A convoy of over 100 vehicles passing through more than 200 towns
- Stages ranging from 10 to 60 km, plus special stages: inline skating, bike and run, flying relays, canoeing, etc.
- A specialized medical team of 9 doctors equipped with appropriate medical supplies, and 28 physical therapists (volunteers)
- A motorcycle squad of 15 Republican Guards and 40 police officers to ensure event safety (volunteers)
- More than 145 volunteers supporting the runners
2026 Program
In the town of Bourg Saint Maurice Les Arcs:
- 11:30 a.m.: Runners arrive at the place de la mairie; musical entertainment and complimentary drinks
