The Christmas Market

From December 19 to 21, the Christmas Market will take place on the Place de la Mairie and on Rue Desserteaux—the perfect place to do your shopping, find the most delicious treats for your holiday table, and help fill Santa’s sack. Special Christmas activities will put a sparkle in your little ones’ eyes. 

• Friday, December 19: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday, the 20th: 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. 
• Sunday, the 21st: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The schedule of free activities

Friday, December 19, 2025: 

• From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – downtown: The Elf’s Treasure Hunt “The Magic Christmas Crystal” 
• Starting at 6:00 p.m.: Musical parade by the “L’Echo du Saint Bernard” brass band 
• Starting at 7:00 p.m. – Town Hall Square: Christmas Market opening ceremony and mulled wine

Saturday, December 20, 2025: 

• From 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Rue Desserteaux: “The Magic of Wooden Games”—recreational and family-friendly wooden games
• Starting at 3:30 p.m. – Place de la Mairie: Arrival of Santa Claus and drawing of letters to Santa
• From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Town Centre: “Les Savoyards” musical parade

Sunday, December 21, 2025:  

• 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Place de la Mairie: “Smile, It’s Christmas!” Photo Corner 
• 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Rue Desserteaux: Festive Jewelry Making! Creative Workshop 
• From 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Town Centre: The Elves’ Visit

Christmas Eve

Join us for Christmas Eve on December 24 to meet Santa Claus, who—before his busy night—will take a few hours to meet every child who comes to see him.

There will be activities throughout the day.

Wednesday, December 24, 2025: 

• 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – La Scène: “The Yétou’s Enchanted Christmas” An audiovisual and interactive Christmas show – for ages 3 to 12
• Meet at 5:00 p.m. – Place du Haut Bourg: “Conte de Brume” procession—a luminous and musical parade
• Meet at 5:15 p.m. – Place du Haut Bourg: Santa’s arrival, hot chocolate 

Kids’ Day

Kids’ Day on December 26 to keep the magic of Christmas alive with a show for all ages.

Friday, December 26, 2025: 

• 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Le Chorus: “Hotte Couture” Christmas, a hand-tailored musical show… For ages 3 and up

New Year's Eve: La Nuit des Glaces

End the year on a high note with “La Nuit des Glaces” on December 31! 

Wednesday, December 31, 2025: 

• 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Place de la Mairie: “Starry Wooden Games”—cosmos-themed wooden games
• From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Town Centre: “Tornade” show—a light and music spectacle 
• At 6:30 p.m. – Place du Haut-Bourg: Fireworks
