Arc 1600 and Arc 1800 Estate Planning Study
The Bourg-Saint-Maurice City Council sought to develop a set of architectural recommendations, including an energy component, to support the preservation of the heritage characteristics of buildings and urban complexes as part of the revision of the Local Urban Planning (PLU) plan.
A comprehensive analysis at both the regional and resort levels, combined with a detailed examination of the built environment—by individual residence and residential complex—provides the necessary framework for interpretation. The recommendations (architectural, landscape, urban, and energy-related) will apply to conservation or transformation projects, whether as part of thermal retrofitting or the adaptation and evolution of the built environment. Architects and engineering firms have collaborated to identify suitable approaches for addressing the challenges of building evolution and change in relation to the ACR “Remarkable Contemporary Architecture” label.

An Environmental Label
“La Note Touristique” is a certification program that provides your guests—who are increasingly interested in ecotourism—with quantified information about the main environmental impacts of your rental property.
Les Arcs is the first tourist destination in Savoie to partner with this program—in other words, a great opportunity to stand out from the rest!
