The "Démontagnée" in Bourg Saint Maurice is an opportunity for everyone to get together during the traditional descent of cattle from the mountain pastures.
Description
From 10am, head to the bus station car park to discover a village of exhibitors offering a variety of gastronomic products. Throughout the day, the town will be alive with a variety of activities to celebrate the end of the mountain pasture season.
At 10.30 am, watch the grand parade of herds of Tarine and Abundance cows, goats, sheep and other animals. These herds will parade through the town of Bourg Saint Maurice, accompanied by the sound of doorbells and numerous musical groups.
A convivial meal will be served on site.
The roads in the town centre will be closed to traffic from 10.15am until the end of the parade. For parking, if you are coming from Aime or Moûtiers, you can park in the Funiculaire car park or the Vanoise car park, and if you are coming from Séez or Tignes, you can park in the Place Saint Jean car park.
