The First Ascent Les Arcs ("La Première Montée Les Arcs"), marks the opening of the ski resort as more than 250 snow lovers strap on their touring skins to mark the first fresh tracks into the mountain side as they climb up a secured piste.
Description
As it does every year, the 1st Montée aux Arcs will benefit the AFM Telethon.
No timing, no pressure—the goal of this day is the simple pleasure of getting together with friends to enjoy a friendly moment during a ski-touring outing. In a natural setting that’s still completely peaceful and free of ski lifts, you can strap on your climbing skins and be the first to leave your tracks on the groomed slopes of Arc 2000, prepared especially for the occasion.
A meal will round out the day in good spirits. Please note! Seating for the meal is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot.
Each participant will be asked to contribute €5 per person (minimum), which will be donated in full to the AFM Telethon.
