Skiing: The Experience

In the spring, skiing in Les Arcs is just as much about the off-piste experience as it is about the slopes. The panoramic terraces become vibrant gathering places, inviting you to slow down and savor the moment while taking in exceptional views. From the Balcon sur les Nuages at 2,545 meters to the panoramic terrace in Vallandry at 2,130 meters, via the Balcon sur la Vanoise, Varet, Carreley, Comborcière, and the Aiguille Rouge, the resort offers a wealth of spectacular views at every location. These are all invitations to enjoy lunch against the backdrop of the Mont Blanc massif, to slow down, take a deep breath, and marvel at the vastness of the Alps. And because the mountains are about more than just skiing, Les Arcs offers a wide range of activities. Sledding, swimming, adventure courses, laser rifle shooting, and zip-lining all enhance your stay and offer other ways to enjoy the resort’s unique atmosphere.

Les Arcs: A Festive and Spectacular Experience

Spring is also a time for celebrations. In Les Arcs, ski days extend into the evening in a relaxed atmosphere thanks to numerous events held on the slopes and throughout the resort. A unique experience that perfectly embodies the festive and offbeat spirit of spring skiing. Among the highlights is the Electronik Peak Festival from March 25 to 27, an event that combines electronic music with a thoughtful lineup and the joy of skiing. The theme of this year’s festival will be an ode to friendship—a celebration of love, music, and reunions—featuring three unique evenings in collaboration with the local minimal label Akta Record, the must-see Parisian house label La Groove, and Automatic Events.

Set in the natural setting of Les Deux Têtes at Arc 1600, the event offers an exceptional setting with breathtaking views of the Haute Tarentaise Valley and the Mont Blanc massif. In a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, beginners, enthusiasts, and internationally renowned highliners—including Alexian Masson, 2021 freestyle highline world champion, and Louise Lenoble, 2024 world runner-up—come together to share their passion and push the boundaries of balance. With aerial performances and opportunities to connect, the Winter Festi’Slack stands out as one of the highlights of spring in Les Arcs.
