After several months of work, a few marathon meetings, some very serious debates about CTAs, and probably two or three dreams that were a little too filled with mockups… it’s finally live!
And no, we didn’t just give it a facelift.
Behind this new look lies a site designed with a fresh approach: mobile-friendly above all else, more fluid, more immersive, but also more streamlined and accessible.
In short: whether you’re looking for lodging from your couch, an activity while riding the funicular, or a last-minute ski pass, everything is designed to save you time… and just a few clicks.
The estate has more than one new feature up its sleeve
New lifts, a new atmosphere, new spots to take a break… This winter, the Domaine de Montagne has a few new surprises in store for you!
The Télévillage: 3 minutes and 20 seconds flat
The red gondolas are passing the torch.
From Peisey, make way for the Télévillage, a new 10-person gondola that’s more modern, faster, and more comfortable.
Now, Peisey-Nancroix and Plan Peisey are connected in just 3 minutes and 20 seconds, with a capacity of up to 900 people per hour.
In other words: less time waiting, more time on the slopes!
It’s the end of an era for the red gondolas: after 43 years of loyal service, they’ve more than earned their retirement.
The Mélèza Forest Takes on a Magical Air
The Pitchouns trail is getting a makeover… and not just a little one.
This winter, Peisey-Vallandry’s famous family-friendly run becomes the Mélèza Forest, a fairy-tale world where magic takes hold among the evergreens.
As you make your way down the run, Mélèza, the guardian fairy, watches over the scene, while pinecone-shaped huts, totem poles, and little scenes dot the trail. And somewhere among the trees, the seed-sowers are never far away… every turn holds its own share of surprises and magic!
A picnic area rounds out the setting, letting you linger a little longer in the heart of the enchanted forest.
And this summer? We’ve heard through the grapevine that a new surprise might just take flight…
A Break with a View in Villaroger
Sometimes, the best plan is simply to stop.
At the top of the Villaroger gondola, four new panoramic wooden huts await you for a break with a view of the peaks.
Inspired by the Refuge du Thuria, these cabins can accommodate 6 to 10 people for a picnic, a chance to catch your breath, or simply to enjoy the scenery.
And since the view deserves respect, every detail has been designed to blend into the landscape: wood sourced locally, processed by a Villaroger sawmill, and cabins built to fit the natural terrain.
It’s the kind of place where a “5-minute break” might just end up lasting a little longer.

Three new spots have been added to the list. Slow-cooked dishes, fine wines, a gourmet break on the slopes… this winter, we’ll once again have to come up with good excuses to sit down at a table or head to the bar!
La Belle Cocotte: Just like a Sunday at Grandma’s
Beaujolais-style beef chuck, veal shank osso buco-style, chicken supreme with vin jaune and morel mushrooms… at La Belle Cocotte in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, they love hearty dishes—the kind that simmer gently and bring to mind large family gatherings.
At the helm, Thomas in the kitchen and Stéphanie front of house offer you a warm and welcoming spot where the menu evolves with the seasons, without losing that touch of authentic, comforting cuisine.
The kind of cuisine that brings to mind Sundays at Grandma’s: flavors from childhood, a taste that makes you want to come back, and the desire to linger a little longer at the table.
The descent: bubbles take flight
Who said the final descent had to be on the slopes?
In Arc 1800, La Descente is opening its doors. Behind this new wine and champagne bar, Clémence Vautrain and her partner Gauthier—both winemakers in the Marne region—have curated a selection of bottles that each tell a story.
Naturally, you’ll find champagnes from the Vautrain family there, but also cuvées from winemakers they’ve met during their trips through the vineyards—wines that have become their favorites.
A few glasses of champagne, a good glass of red wine, and stories of the vineyards to share at the bar.
In short, the new hangout to put the world to rights with friends after a day of skiing.
Le Poul-Over: Something’s Brewing in Arc 2000
A new slopeside bistro is setting up shop in Arc 2000. All bundled up in your “poul-over,” settle in for a gourmet break with the mountains as your backdrop.
And since a name like that was bound to lead somewhere, the spot also hides a rather unexpected curiosity at this altitude: a chicken coop. 🐔
Yes, yes, you read that right. Even the chickens have their own spot in Arc 2000.
The forest is making its presence felt everywhere this winter
It really seems like the forest is everywhere this winter—on the slopes, in our landscapes… and even in our actions.
Behind the Scenes of the Forest
Following the “Code de la Montagne,” a new exhibition is taking place at La Passerelle in collaboration with the National Forest Service.
Forests, biodiversity, habitat conservation… this new exhibition invites you to take a fresh look at what lies behind the landscapes around us and to better understand everything that sustains and shapes the forest.
