Description
Rafting is done in teams, aboard an inflatable raft, paddling together down rapids. In the Haute Tarentaise region, the activity takes place on the Isère river, on a 23 km full descent, one of the longest courses in France. Other, shorter courses are available, either as a discovery trip or for the little ones.
From Bourg Saint Maurice to Centron, the descent takes you through a spectacular alpine setting of forests, cliffs and rushing water. Along the way, you’ll navigate the iconic Aime rapids, the Pucelle gorges and the Centron rapids, for a dynamic yet accessible experience.
Fed by daily dam releases on the Isère, the river offers optimal conditions throughout the season.
