This summer, leave your car in the garage. With more frequent service and easier access, the train is the most convenient way to get to Les Arcs.
Additional schedules with direct trains
This summer, more than ever, the mountain peaks are just a train ride away! To meet the growing desire to escape to the mountains, SNCF is expanding its TGV INOUI service to the Tarentaise Valley and making it easier to get to Les Arcs-Bourg Saint Maurice!
Direct and simplified access
From July 12 to August 10, 2025, the SNCF is offering an additional round-trip service every weekend between Paris and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, adding 5,000 extra seats to make it easier for travelers to reach the mountains.
With these expanded schedules, there’s no need for a car. You can board a TGV in Paris and get off a few hours later in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, ready to take the funicular directly to Arc 1600!
And to celebrate?
The funicular—free for pedestrians and paragliders—will stay open until 9 p.m. every Saturday.
The free shuttle buses between stations will also stay in service longer to drop you off near your lodging, without needing a car.
Direct train schedule:
- On Saturdays:
