A new concept of orchard to be discovered and experienced during a walk in this beautiful setting, located on a hillock overlooking the Isère and at the heart of a region where traditional orchards, combining grasslands and fruit trees, are still a regular feature.
Description
The site combines freshly planted orchards, a nursery, a composting area, a vineyard and an apiary, scattered across a large area where natural elements important to orchard life have been preserved: hedges and natural meadows.
A pathway punctuated by explanatory panels allows visitors to discover the site and the history of the fruit-growing civilization that has left its mark on the valley, while drawing attention to the remarkable ecosystem of traditional orchards. There are plenty of rest areas to enjoy the scenery and taste this vast space, dedicated to the rebirth of orchards.
