Perched at the summit of Transarc, the “Balcony Above the Clouds” is a true panoramic retreat designed to let you experience the mountains in a whole new way. It features two terraces furnished with tables and benches for picnicking while gazing at the mountain peaks, as well as a pair of binoculars that let you observe every surrounding feature in detail.
The spot invites you to relax in its metal hammocks, perfect for lying back above the void and watching the clouds. A photo spot lets you leave with “your head in the clouds,” while modern restrooms offer a surprising experience under a starry ceiling.
Starting this summer, the space will be further enhanced: a climbing wall for children, a slide, and new cloud-shaped seats will round out the site’s poetic and playful atmosphere. Designed as a natural amphitheater facing the sky, this balcony is a place to unwind, contemplate, and simply enjoy the moment.
You’re sure to fall in love with it! Nestled at an altitude of over 2,700 meters, the panoramic terrace at the summit of the resort offers an unforgettable experience. Accessible via the Varet gondola in Arc 2000, this view reveals the majestic peaks of Roignais and Pierra Menta. An experience not to be missed before conquering the summit of the Aiguille Rouge.
