Rating Procedure:

Official Classification of Furnished Vacation Rentals:

• The classification process is voluntary and initiated by the owner.
• The owner requests an inspection visit from the Maison des Propriétaires. The owner decides which classification category to pursue.

La Maison des Propriétaires offers a special rate of €72 (going rate €170), which includes the “Cristaux Paradiski” rating conducted during the same visit. The visit lasts about one hour.

After the inspection, La Maison des Propriétaires prepares a report and sends it, along with the completed checklist, to the owner within one month.

The owner has 15 days to contest the classification decision with La Maison des Propriétaires, if desired.

Once the owner has approved it, the classification decision is finalized by La Maison des Propriétaires.

The classification order is valid for five years.

Note: The fee of €72 per apartment covers the costs of the initial inspection and the follow-up inspection, the completion of the inspection checklist, and the preparation of reports by the Maison des Propriétaires team. The follow-up inspection and the assignment of a new classification will only be possible within a maximum period of one year.

A Second Classification System: Les Cristaux Paradiski

The national classification system for “vacation rentals” offers tax benefits. However, since it’s based on quantitative criteria, it doesn’t meet our needs (we don’t need ski lockers, for example). That is why we use a second, more qualitative rating system... 

• Les Cristaux Paradiski: This evaluation system, shared with La Plagne, takes into account not only the needs of guests on ski vacations (such as ski racks, for example) but also the unique characteristics of small living spaces and the interior designs found in our resorts.

The “Paradiski Crystals” evaluation is conducted at the same time as the inspection visit for vacation rentals. It is included in the €72 fee.

Today, your customers want accommodation that is rated so they can be confident in the quality of their reservation. With this need for clarity in mind, the team at Maison des Propriétaires visits and classifies furnished vacation rentals in Les Arcs and Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
